Northwest Shining Star

Michele Russell is the mother of my friend Cassandra "Cassie" Russell. She was an inspiration to my completion of my bachelor's degree in 2012. Michele worked as an Emergency Room Nurse at Good Samaritan Hospital in Puyallup, Washington.

When I met Cassandra Russell, she was 35 years old. Cassandra was completing her final year at Pacific Lutheran University as a Communications major. I was Cassandra's first black friend. She was originally from Oregon.
